How to save money
Oh hi darlings!
I am an university student, studying cellular and molecular biology, and my challenge every month is to save money as much as I can...
My main problem was that I spent most of my allowance in the frist week of the month, and thenceforth was counting every penny to buy my essentials and that needed to change! So I found some tricks that help me manage everything and I still can buy some things that I like at the end of the month!
Here are some tricks to save money:
1. Make a plan, monthly, of your basic necessities, what is really important like: lunches, transportation, phone charge, grocery shopping, etc... This way you can predict how much money you will spend and how much you will save.
2. Write down your daily outlay. This is not very practical, but if you really want so save some money this is perfect for you because, at the end of the day, you see where your money went and you realize if it is really necessary. The next day you will be more careful. This really helped me in the beginning!

3. Make an objective purchase for every month, that way your are committed to save money, because if you do, you will buy that item that you really want.
4. Make a list of things that you need or want (that are not necessities). Look at your wardrobe, vanity, stuff and think about what is really missing. And really important: consider if that item is really worth spending the money, if it will make you really really happy and if you actually need it.
5. If there is something really expensive but that you really want to buy, save for it in an original way. Find a cute container, label it with the item you want and collect the money in change or small bills. Before you know it, you have the money you needed.
6. If you usually buy lunch, at school or work, make a maximum of money that you can spend that month in food, put it on a separated wallet and this way you can control your money more efficiently. Everything you want to buy to eat is using that money and that money only. This is helpful because you know that you can't spend more than that, so you really think before buying that chocolate or that snack. And an healthier alternative: bring some fruit to eat on the go!

Night time skin care routine
Oh hi darlings!
Today I'm going to talk about my night time routine. I finally found one that makes my skin moisturized, fresh and smooth. I have really dry skin and I couldn't find a cream that was hydrating enough. Right now I am really happy with the results!
I usually shower at night, I like to go warm and clean to bed and in the shower I start my routine:
Then I go to my room and apply a face cream to reduce some marks in my face, and I really think that is working:
| It's a really light cream, it is quickly absorbed into the skin and so far, I really like it. I believe that is worth the hype! The price is around 14€. |
Next up are my lips. Very sensitive and dry all the time. I am constantly putting lip balm:
Before bed, if I feel that something is dry I use this:
| NIVEA soft! Really hydrating and not oily. Price around 5€. |
